TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME 7/24

We had a busy week last week! Marc actually stayed home for four days straight and I didn't have to work so we spoiled the boys with many outings! We did the pool one day! We took Cam to see Space Chimps (which Marc and I enjoyed also- two thumbs up from the Deitsch Family). Then on Thursday we revisited Conner Prairie with Joey and Marc and took in an Indiana's game that night! Phew! Conner Prairie still did not arouse Cameron's interest too much, Joey however did like the chickens and other animals. The Indians game was a first for both boys and it is a must do again. Now don't get me wrong there was no play by play watching from anyone not even Marc and I. However Cam enjoyed the popcorn, rolling down the hill in the outfield, and tossing his baseball around. Joey of course enjoyed the snacking while lounging on a blanket and the ability to walk around even if it was trying to walk out the gate and onto West street. Hopefully we will do it again and try an afternoon game since by the 6th inning the boys were getting crabby. But there is nothing like hearing your almost 3 year old mimic the beer man " Cold Beer, Ice Cold Beer here" :)

Cam loves the covered bridge

we saw Becca, she was doing a camp at Conner Prairie

July14th Sprinkler Fun

The boys love the sprinkler! Joey puts his face in it- cracks me up :)

Look at the legs on that child!

July 9th Conner Prairie

I wanted to do something outside and close to home so we went to Conner Prairie. For those who don't know -Conner Prairie is a living outdoor history museum. I didn't know if Cameron would enjoy it but we went- leaving Joey behind (didn't think joey would have as much fun). Cameron thought it was okay. He liked seeing the blacksmith but refused to talk to any of the characters and didn't want anything to do with the animals. So we spent most of the time inside the discovery station where they had a play size town.

Drivin a tractor
He loved the trains- can't believe I got this outfit on him :)

July 4th

Busy busy day! We started with the parade in Carmel which was nice for the first 30 minutes until it started raining and we were forced to watch it from under umbrellas. The kids didn't mind since they still received candy! Then we hung out at boop's ( aka grandma-Marcia) ate lunch and played. Lauren and Chandler showed Cam how to roll down the hill! They had fun and loved getting muddy! Then we went and watched the fireworks in Carmel with uncle Steve. We had loads of fun and the boys slept until 9:30 the next day-- awesome!

Carmel Fest July 3

Marc and I took the boys to Carmel Fest for a little pre 4th fun since daddy would be working on the 4th. We ate some yummy greasy food and ice cream, listened to the fun music and walked around. Cameron played some games and got a USA tattoo. We ended the night with a visit to the firehouse and seeing Sparky. Joey has decided he is not a big Sparky fan (he cried).

Told you he would eat anything!

I love this pic! (both smiling yippee! )

He won a little plastic frog!

Climbing over the wall!

See Joe Joe is crying :(

He is so much fun!

Fun in the Sun July 2

Kindra called us and asked us to go swimming and we were excited to go! Cameron and Mason had a blast in the pool together. Both were jumpin and swimming their little hearts out. Joey enjoyed the water some but would rather be out walkin around and snacking on food (there is a shocker).

13 months

Well Joey is a walking fool.. he is not completely steady but now insists on walking instead of crawling. This last week he just learned how to climb on the sofas, then proceeds to jump on them. His bumps and bruises have increased which is to be expected with a little dare devil. We moved him to a booster seat so he can eat at the table with us and he loves it. He looks so big! As many of you already know Joey is the official garbage can whatever you give him he will eat. Some new favorites are bell peppers (any color), deviled eggs, cream cheese, corn dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, cucumbers and the list continues I will let you know if we come across anything he does not like :) The official weigh at his one year appointment was 26lbs and 12 ounces!!!! Already two pounds heavier than Cam at this age and 2 inches taller!
