Camping -or should I say "attempted" backyard camping!!!!

So we pitched Cameron's new tent in the backyard so he could try it out. As you can see by the video he was very excite,However Cameron only made it to about 10:00pm. We don't have an air mattress so Cam figured out real quick that the hard ground is not so comfy! we did hang out in the tent and looked at the stars and listen to all the night time sounds which was a cool new experience. Joey liked the tent and actually fell asleep in it until we packed up and headed indoors and put him in his crib!!!! Guess we won't be roughing it anytime soon, at least not until we invest in an air mattress!!!

Cameron's 4th Birthday

Cameron had a great 4th birthday! We had a birthday party on Saturday for him which was great even with it being pretty hot out the kiddos still managed to have a blast. Then on Sunday his actual birthday he got to go to the Monon center and splash around at the water park. He wasn't tall enough for the big water slides so hopefully next year but he did like the lazy river which was nice for mom and dad too considering how hot it was.

Cameron got a new bike from mom and dad! He also got a new tent so him and dad can go camping in the back yard--- that is as far as Marc will go with camping :)

Soccer

WE have had both the boys doing Lil' Kickers this summer. We have found out that Joey does not like extreme physical activity during the warm summer months. He refuses to run and will tell you he is hot and wants to go to the car. I am thinking Marc might get his hockey player since Joey isn't digging the heat (just like his father). I am thinking we will not be signing Joey up for next session since the 1st 20minutes he sits on the field and whines.

SUMMER FUN

We have had some fun so far this summer!

Cameron has told us a couple times already that he is going to marry Bailey. Those of you who do not know Bailey, she is a neighbor down the street and my boys adore her!!!!!

I thought for sure he would throw the glove over the fence and there was a couple times that he was close.... thank goodness no gloves were confiscated!!!!

A couple times now Joey has fallen asleep in Cameron's bed, however if you ask him if he wants a big boy bed he will tell you "N0" he loves his crib! I am afraid he is going to have to give it up sooner than later he is getting pretty big.

Carmel fest is always a blast for the kids good food, music, and fun activities.
